Anderson is a city in and the county seat of Anderson County, South Carolina. Anderson is the smallest of the three primary cities that makes up the Upstate region and is nicknamed “The Electric City” and “The Friendliest City in South Carolina”.

Anderson’s spirit and quality of life have earned national recognition as Anderson County was named an “All-America City” in 2000.

 

 

Anderson County, South Carolina lies midway between Atlanta, Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina. With a fairly easy access to both of these cities, Anderson is a vibrant and successful area for major business growth and visitation by travelers from all over the country.

Anderson has numerous opportunities for citizens and tourists to experience shopping, recreation, historical activities and so much more. It is known as one of the main shopping destinations in the upstate area of South Carolina. 

Anderson also lies just a short drive from beautiful Lake Hartwell, one of the Southeast’s largest and most popular recreational lakes.

Jim Jr. has brought the “Ross” back to The Aiken Golf Club. In 2012, the Centennial Year, Jim was declared as a course designer, along with Ross and Inglis.
